Gym Policy (Top 20)
(Adapted from bretcontreras.com, 50 commandments of commercial gym

1.
Thou shalt attempt to work

courtesy, and respecting others
2.
Thou shalt take
responsibility for thy own results and not make excuses or blame others for
your failure to enjoy working out
3.
Thou shalt persevere in
your exercise, eating, and resting plan; keeping a long term perspective and

4.
Thou shalt re-rack
dumbbells and plates and return equipment to where it belongs
5.
Thou shalt not eat, talk on
mobile phones, text, or read while in the weight room

12.
Thou shalt not use
in-demand equipment such as squat racks, platforms, and bench presses for
performing isolation exercises that can be performed elsewhere

positive demeanour
17.
Thou shalt attempt to learn
the basics of spotting technique in a myriad of exercises and do thy best to
provide a proper spot to individuals when asked
18.
Thou shalt inform your
spotter how thou likes to be spotted; however, thou shalt not abuse your
spotting privileges and shall not require a spot for a majority of thy sets,
nor attempt a lift that is way too heavy for thy abilities

Thou shalt ask experienced
lifters for advice during opportune moments but shall not abuse this privilege
20. Thou shalt not flirt excessively with other lifters regardless of gender
